Heat Detector
DESCRIPTION
SHIELD Heat Detector monitors temperature by using a dual thermistor network which provides a voltage output proportional to the external air temperature. There are nine heat detectorsin the series range designed to suit a wide variety of operating conditions.

Smoke Detector
DESCRIPTION
SHIELD Photo-Electric Smoke Detector incorporates a pulsing LED located within the housing of the detector. The detector housing is identical to that of the Ionization Detector but has an indicator LED which is clear in quiescent state but produces red light in alarm.

DESCRIPTION
Designed and manufactured to the highest standards in a quality controlled environment and with UL & FM approvals, the Shield A-XT releasing panel offers outstanding value and performance for all small to medium fixed firefighting installations.
With three detection zones as standard, extinguishant release can be configured to activate from any combination of detection zone inputs to allow ( among other combinations) any two from three type activations such as would be required for detection in ceiling void, room and floor void applications.
The extensive configuration options of the Shield A-XT allow the functionality of the system to be extensively modified.
The panel contains a large LED display to enable easy configuration and control which also displays the time remaining until extinguishant release for added user safety.
The countdown timer is duplicated on up to seven remote status units to provide local indication of the system status..
With all of the electronics mounted on a single, easily removable, steel plate Shield A-XT panels are both robust and easy to install..
Shield A-XT is supplied in an enclosure that matches the design and colour of the elite RS range and is available in standard red or optional grey

NAFFCO-227 360-psi Modular (Single Cylinder) Systems
A 360-psi modular system is a single cylinder system using welded cylinders from 67 to 592 lbs. pressurized with Nitrogen at 360 psi. It includes cylinder, dip tube, discharge valve with pressure gauge/switch, manual level release and the solenoid electrical actuator. The agent flows from the cylinder through a hose into the pipework, which ends with one or more nozzles.
NAFFCO-227 360-psi Centralized (Up to Three Cylinders) System
A 360-psi centralized system is a multiple cylinder system using welded cylinders from 67 lbs. to 590 lbs. pressurized with Nitrogen at 360 psi. For system using up to three cylinders, the first cylinder (master cylinder) is equipped with a manual level release and a solenoid electrical actuator and operates all the other (auxiliary) cylinders. All the cylinders must be filled with the same amount of agent. For centralized systems using cylinders of 190 lbs., 300 lbs., 430 lbs., and 590 lbs. the pressure in the master cylinder is directoed to the pneumatic head with rapture disc mounted on top of each auxiliary cylinder valve through a line of high-pressure hoses.
NAFFCO-227 360-psi Centralized (More Than Three Cylinders) System
A 360-psi centralized system with more than three cylinders is operated by a 3-liter pilot cylinder filled with Nitrogen pressurized at 1,450 psi. The pilot cylinder is equipped with both manual level release and solenoid electrical actuator. The pressure from the pilot cylinder is directed toward the auxiliary cylinder pneumatic heads through a line of hoses and bursts the discs of pneumatic cones. A single pilot cylinder can operated up to 40 cylinders.
NAFFCO-227 600-psi Modular (Single Cylinder) Systems
A 600-psi modular system is a single cylinder system using seamless cylinders from 12 lbs. to 300 bls. pressurized with Nitrogen at 600 psi. What is Inert Gas?
Inert Gas is a colorless, odorless, electrically nonconductive gas with a density approximately the same as air. Inert Gas is stored as pressurized gas within the cylinder assembly. When discharged into a protected space, it is clear and does not obscure vision. It leaves no residue and has zero ozone depleting potential and zero global warming potential.

DESCRIPTION
CO2 is an odorless, colorless, electrically non-conductive, non-corrosive, and non-deteriorating agent. It is normally present in the atmosphere at about 0.03% by volume.
CO2 System consists of a fixed supply of CO2 converted through a piping network and nozzles.

Pre-Engineered Kitchen Suppression System
DESCRIPTION
The Kitchen Fire Suppression System Kit for Kitchen is a pre-engineered, wet chemical, indirect low-pressuresystem with a fixed nozzle agent distribution network. It extinguishes cooking fires caused by grease orgrease-laden vapors (class F or class K fire). It does not require electrical power or connection to either domesticwater supply or fire sprinkler supply lines. In case of fire, the system actuates automatically or by manual release.The Kitchen Fire Suppression System Kit for Kitchen is designed for the fire protection during cooking operations.Cooking operations are defined as kitchens that have Cooking appliances that produce grease and grease-ladenvapors. Cooking appliances include flat grills, char broilers, woks, cooking plates and deep fat fryers. Three (3),Five (5) and Ten (10) nozzles are included in the Kitchen Fire Suppression System Kit for Kitchen. One nozzleprotects an area of approximately 1m2 and extinguishes for example a fire caused by a burning 45 liter deep fatfryer. We recommend installing one (1) nozzle for the protection of the hood, one nozzle for the protection ofplenum and other nozzles for the protection of cooking appliances that produce grease and grease-laden vaporsas applicable depending on size of the kitchen equipment’s.

Heat Sensor tube Automatic activation
Fire is detected by the flexible, heat-sensitive, nitrogen pressurized Kitchen Fire Suppression System sensor tubing, which must be routed throughout the hazard area.
Fusible Link Automatic activation
Fire is detected by the Fusible Link which must be routed throughout the hazard area. In case of fire, the Fusible Link in Kitchen fire Suppression System breaks & tension reduces suddenly and activates the system automatically.
